Katharine Tansavatdi, M.D., is a highly experienced neuroradiologist who obtained her bachelor’s degree in Integrative Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, where she was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. She attended medical school at Wake Forest University, where she received an NIH Medical Student Research Fellowship. Following an internship at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, WA, she performed her Diagnostic Radiology residency at the University of California Davis Medical Center in Sacramento. While at UC Davis, Dr. Tansavatdi was awarded the RSNA trainee research award. Dr. Tansavatdi then completed a two year Neuroradiology Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School.

Following her training, Dr. Tansavatdi was an instructor of radiology at Harvard Medical School. Most recently, she served as Medical Director for Valley Imaging Partnership, an outpatient imaging group in West Covina, CA. Dr. Tansavatdi has contributed numerous articles to the radiology literature and has provided numerous presentations at national radiology meetings.

Dr. Tansavatdi lives in Los Angeles, California. When not practicing radiology, she enjoys snow skiing, tennis, and golf.
