Violeta Nikac, M.D. joins Radsource after gaining broad experience in both private practice and as an attending radiologist in musculoskeletal imaging at Harvard Medical School, where she instructed residents and fellows at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital for 5 years. Dr. Nikac graduated magna cum laude from Union College and subsequently was granted a Master of Science degree in health management from Union’s Graduate College. She then completed her M.D. at Albany Medical College, where she received a prestigious award for excellence in research. Dr. Nikac performed her residency in diagnostic radiology at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York and then completed a fellowship in musculoskeletal imaging and intervention at Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts.

Dr. Nikac is well regarded by her colleagues and referring physicians for her clinical acumen. While at Harvard, she served on numerous hospital committees. She has published multiple articles in the medical literature and has provided numerous presentations at national and international radiology meetings.

Dr. Nikac resides in southern California with her family. When not practicing radiology, she enjoys cooking, baking, skiing, hiking and going on adventures with her husband and two children.
