protonPACS logoRadsource, a leader in radiology clinical services and provider of Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS), has expanded its PACS service area with five new installations in the final quarter of 2015.

Great Falls Clinic Medical Center (Great Falls, MT), Capstone Family Medicine (Wasilla, AK), Barnhill-Parker Sports Medicine (Amarillo, TX), Sturdy orthopaedics & Sports Medicine Associates (Attleboro, MA), and Comprehensive Interventional Care Centers (Mesa, AZ) have successfully implemented ProtonPACS within the past three months.  Since ProtonPACS is a flexible and scalable solution, each new client was able to tailor the system to work within their specific environment.

Great Falls Clinic & Medical Center is comprised of Great Falls Clinic, Great Falls Clinic Medical Center, and Great Falls Clinic Surgery Center. Their newly designed hospital is slated for opening at the beginning of 2016. Great Falls has a commitment to utilizing the best available technologies to create more value for the patients served. Faced with large upgrade costs and hardware capital expenses for its PACS and with the challenge of integrating each separate center into one cohesive unit, Great Falls knew it was time to review the available options. ProtonPACS was chosen not only for its superior viewer, but also due to its existing integration with Athena EMR and ability to launch images from within the EMR, its scalable infrastructure and its low, all inclusive, fee per study payment model. “ProtonPACS was able to convert very complex workflows and disparate systems into a cohesive workflow tightly integrated across three different locations. The flexibility and customization provided have transformed the way Great Falls operates,” stated Mike McLeroy, AVP of Hospital Technology.
