Leon R. Toye, M.D. has more than 15 years of musculoskeletal MRI experience and serves as a Radsource Medical Director. Prior to joining Radsource, Dr. Toye served as the Director of Musculoskeletal Radiology at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Toye was highly esteemed by the radiology residents and fellows for his teaching expertise, playing a vital role in the residency program as an instructor and a sought-after clinical radiologist to the medical staff. Dr. Toye has provided image interpretations for several professional and collegiate teams including the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Stars, and Tennessee Titans. He has numerous publications to his credit, has served as a peer reviewer for the Musculoskeletal Section of the American Journal of Roentgenology, and is a member of the International Skeletal Society.  Dr. Toye has a special interest in MR image optimization and protocol development.

Dr. Toye completed musculoskeletal radiology fellowship at Duke University under the direction of Dr. Clyde Helms. Additionally, he was chief resident in Diagnostic Radiology at the St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center/Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix and also graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.

Dr. Toye is an accomplished guitarist and enjoys both live and studio performance. Dr. Toye’s wife, Amanda, is an anesthesiologist who specializes in pain management.
