Leon Toye, M.D. has over 20 years of subspecialty-musculoskeletal MRI experience. During this time, he has focused on radiology education, leadership, and has provided radiological services for several professional athletic teams. Dr. Toye previously served as lead radiologist for both the Tennessee Titans NFL and Memphis Grizzlies NBA teams, and also previously served as a Radsource Medical Director.

Prior to joining Radsource, Dr. Toye was the Director of MSK Radiology at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, a sought-after clinical radiologist, and regarded radiology resident/fellow educator. While in Texas, Dr. Toye provided radiology interpretations for additional sports teams including the Dallas Cowboys and the Dallas Stars. He has numerous publications to his credit, is a member of the International Skeletal Society, has served as a peer reviewer for the Musculoskeletal Section of the American Journal of Roentgenology, and as a consultant on the GE MSK MRI Medical Advisory Committee. Dr. Toye has special interests in workflow solutions, artificial intelligence, and MR image optimization.

Dr. Toye completed his musculoskeletal radiology fellowship at Duke University under the direction of Dr. Clyde Helms. Additionally, he was chief resident in Diagnostic Radiology at the St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center/Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix and graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.

Dr. Toye is a guitar enthusiast who enjoys recording music with various artists in Nashville, New Orleans, and Austin.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
