Hilary Louise Purdy Orlowski, M.D. is an exceptionally skilled neuroradiologist who joins Radsource after serving as assistant professor of neuroradiology at the renowned Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis, where she served as the program director for the neuroradiology fellowship program.

After earning her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University, Dr. Orlowski went on to complete medical school at Rush Medical College in Chicago, where she was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society and earned multiple awards and honors for her academic work, including prestigious junior and senior medical student commendations and the Glasgow-Rubin Citation for Academic Achievement. Dr. Orlowski completed her radiology residency at Mallinckrodt, serving as Chief Resident. After residency, she completed a fellowship in diagnostic neuroradiology at Mallinckrodt and went on to demonstrate impressive skills as a leader and mentor in the field of academic radiology.

Dr. Orlowski has made substantial contributions to the field of radiology. She has received multiple funded research grants, has published numerous peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, has sat on multiple national editorial committees and boards, and has provided countless radiology educational lectures. She served on many university and hospital boards and committees and was awarded Mallinckrodt’s Distinguished Residency Teaching Award.

When not practicing radiology, Dr. Orlowski likes spending time with her husband and three young children, traveling, reading, playing the piano and making memories with family at the lake.
