Dan Maland, M.D. is a distinguished musculoskeletal radiologist with a wealth of experience in the field. Before joining Radsource, he served for five years as a musculoskeletal radiologist at American Radiology Associates in Dallas, Texas.

Dr. Maland completed his medical education at the University of Texas at Houston Medical School, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He continued his training with a residency in diagnostic and interventional imaging at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston and stayed to pursue a fellowship in musculoskeletal and emergency imaging.

Dr. Maland is highly regarded by orthopaedic surgeons for his exceptional expertise as a musculoskeletal radiologist and his ability to deliver practical and clinically relevant information. Throughout his career, Dr. Maland has been involved in various research projects, including investigating muscle injuries in NFL athletes using MRI and ultrasound to describe injury patterns and improve treatment planning. Additionally, he has authored and presented several posters and scientific publications at various national academic conferences.

When he is not immersed in the world of radiology, Dr. Maland enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two daughters. Dr. Maland is an active sports enthusiast. He is an avid reader and enjoys piano, guitar, and singing.
