Shari Friedman, M.D., is a highly experienced musculoskeletal radiologist with a strong background in academic leadership, clinical excellence, and advanced imaging. Prior to joining Radsource, she served as Director of Musculoskeletal Imaging at Westchester Medical Center, where she was also an attending radiologist and Clinical Associate Professor of Radiology at New York Medical College. Earlier in her career, Dr. Friedman spent more than a decade at Montefiore Medical Center and Montefiore Advanced Imaging, contributing extensively to both clinical practice and resident education.

Dr. Friedman earned her medical degree, graduating cum laude from the State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn. She completed her internship in internal medicine at Staten Island University Hospital, followed by diagnostic radiology residency and advanced musculoskeletal imaging fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center. She received her undergraduate degree in biology, summa cum laude from Queens College.

Dr. Friedman has served on multiple residency leadership committees, including program selection, clinical competency, and program evaluation committees. She has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and educational exhibits, with research spanning musculoskeletal, abdominal, and postoperative imaging. Her work has been widely presented at national and international radiology meetings.

Dr. Friedman is a longstanding member of several professional societies, including the Society of Skeletal Radiology, RSNA, ARRS, and ACR, and is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

Dr. Friedman resides in New Jersey with her family. When not practicing radiology, she enjoys cooking, baking, hiking, yoga, and traveling with her husband and children.
