Dr. Mickey Steven Chabak is a Musculoskeletal Radiologist joining Radsource with expertise in all facets of musculoskeletal imaging, including spine imaging, and image-guided musculoskeletal interventions.

He received his medical degree from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine and completed his Diagnostic Radiology residency at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium (Brooke Army Medical Center), where he served as Chief Resident. He went on to complete a fellowship in musculoskeletal imaging at the University of Michigan.

Dr. Chabak served in the United States Army as a Radiologist, achieving the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.  While on active duty, he was a Staff Radiologist at General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital, and later a Musculoskeletal Radiologist and Section Chief of MRI at Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center. After his time in the Army, and before joining Radsource, he was a Musculoskeletal Radiologist and partner at Springfield Clinic (Springfield, IL).

He has contributed to research and publications in the field of musculoskeletal imaging and orthopaedic-related conditions.

Outside of work, Dr. Chabak enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and two children, riding his Peloton bike, and supporting his daughter’s swimming and son’s baseball endeavors.
