Dr. Michael Friedman is an accomplished diagnostic radiologist specializing in musculoskeletal imaging and intervention. He joins Radsource with a distinguished career spanning both academic and clinical radiology, including his roles as Medical Director of Imaging at Alton Memorial Hospital and Associate Professor in the Musculoskeletal Section at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology, Washington University School of Medicine.

Dr. Friedman earned his medical degree from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine before completing his residency and fellowship at Mallinckrodt, where he later assumed key teaching and leadership positions. He has been recognized with numerous honors, including the Carol B. & Jerome T. Loeb Teaching Fellow Award, and has contributed to the field with over 25 peer-reviewed publications.

An esteemed speaker and educator, Dr. Friedman has presented his work at premier conferences such as RSNA and AAOS, earning multiple accolades for his contributions. He is also an active member of professional organizations, including the Society of Skeletal Radiology and the American College of Radiology.

When not practicing radiology, Dr. Friedman enjoys coaching his kids’ sports teams, walking the dogs, golfing, playing pickleball, and fishing.
