Michael Brown, D.O., is a highly skilled musculoskeletal radiologist with extensive experience in advanced MSK imaging, academic leadership, and clinical education. Prior to joining Radsource, he served as Lead Musculoskeletal Radiologist at Santa Ana–Tustin Radiology Group in Orange County, where he was a full partner and vice president of the executive board. In this role, Dr. Brown has been deeply involved in clinical operations, physician leadership, and subspecialty imaging excellence.
Dr. Brown completed advanced musculoskeletal radiology training at the University of California, San Francisco. He completed his diagnostic radiology residency at the Cleveland Clinic, where he was their first resident to complete the American Board of Radiology’s integrated Nuclear Medicine fellowship pathway. His training also includes a transitional year internship at John T. Mather Memorial Hospital/Stony Brook and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine. He earned dual undergraduate degrees in Neuroscience and Film and Media Studies from the University of Rochester.
A dedicated educator and leader, Dr. Brown served as Education Chief and Senior Chief Resident during residency and received multiple teaching awards from residents and medical students. He has held faculty teaching appointments, participated in national radiology leadership programs, contributed to academic research and presented educational exhibits at national meetings.
When not practicing radiology, Dr. Brown most enjoys family time at the beach with his wife and daughter. He also spends his free time cooking, cross training, and bouldering.
