Dr. Matthew Herczyk is a musculoskeletal radiologist with extensive experience in high-volume outpatient imaging and teleradiology environments. His clinical expertise includes musculoskeletal MRI, CT, radiography, and fluoroscopy-guided procedures, with a strong focus on delivering accurate, efficient interpretations that support timely patient care and clinical decision-making.

In addition to musculoskeletal imaging, Dr. Herczyk has experience across multiple imaging modalities, including mammography, ultrasound, prostate MRI, and body and chest CT. He has also contributed to quality assurance initiatives and imaging protocol oversight, helping support diagnostic consistency and workflow efficiency across diverse clinical practice settings.

He completed a fellowship in Musculoskeletal Imaging and Intervention at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System, where he also completed a Body MRI mini-fellowship and Diagnostic Radiology residency. Dr. Herczyk earned his medical degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine.

Dr. Herczyk has been recognized for his academic contributions, including receiving a Cum Laude Award at RSNA for his educational exhibit, Talar Trauma: What the Orthopedist Wants to Know. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Radiology, American Roentgen Ray Society, and Radiological Society of North America.

Outside of radiology, Dr. Herczyk enjoys staying active, reading, and spending time with his family.
