Lauren M. Ladd, M.D., is a board-certified musculoskeletal radiologist with extensive expertise in advanced MSK imaging and intervention. Before joining Radsource, she served on the faculty of the Indiana University School of Medicine for a decade, advancing from Assistant Professor to Associate Professor of Clinical Radiology, and since 2016 has been an MSK MRI reader for the NFL Combine.

Dr. Ladd earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, summa cum laude, from Butler University and her medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine. She completed a transitional internship at Methodist Hospital (IU), a diagnostic radiology residency at Indiana University—where she served as Chief Resident—and a fellowship in Musculoskeletal Imaging and Intervention at the University of Wisconsin, where she was also a Clinical Instructor.

An accomplished educator and leader, Dr. Ladd has received multiple honors, including the IU Department of Radiology’s Heun Y. Yune Teaching Award and the IUSM Trustee Teaching Award. She is an active contributor to the field, serving on musculoskeletal editorial and expert panels for the American Journal of Roentgenology and the American College of Radiology, as a reviewer for RadioGraphics, and in leadership roles with the Society of Skeletal Radiology. Her scholarly work spans MSK infections, hip and shoulder imaging, MRI technique, and physician wellness.

Outside of work, Dr. Ladd enjoys spending time with her family, exploring new destinations, baking, staying active, and embracing the outdoors through activities like hiking and skiing.
