Dr. Hyojeong Lee is a distinguished musculoskeletal radiologist joining Radsource with more than two decades of expertise in advanced joint, soft tissue, and spine imaging. She earned her medical degree summa cum laude from Chonnam National University Medical School in South Korea, followed by a master’s degree from the University of Ulsan College of Medicine. She completed her diagnostic radiology residency and musculoskeletal fellowship training at leading institutions in Seoul, later advancing her training with a musculoskeletal radiology fellowship at the University of Washington School of Medicine.
Dr. Lee has held prominent academic positions, serving as Associate Professor of Radiology at both Yale School of Medicine and the University of Washington. During her tenure, she directed musculoskeletal radiology interventions, served as course director for resident education, and received multiple honors for excellence in teaching and clinical care. She is the recipient of numerous national and international awards, including a Gold Medal from the American Roentgen Ray Society and a Young Investigator Award from the Society of Skeletal Radiology.
A recognized leader in her field, Dr. Lee has authored extensive peer-reviewed research, book chapters, and educational materials that have advanced musculoskeletal imaging practices. She is a sought-after invited lecturer, presenting at major radiology conferences worldwide. She maintains active membership in several professional organizations, including the Society of Skeletal Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America, and the International Skeletal Society.
When not practicing radiology, Dr. Lee enjoys books, movies, and staying active with Pilates.
