Dr. Gitanjali Bajaj is a skilled radiologist with expertise in musculoskeletal and body MRI, with a strong focus on advanced imaging of soft tissue tumors, sports injuries, and complex musculoskeletal conditions. She currently serves as Associate Professor of Radiology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where she is actively involved in clinical care, resident education, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Dr. Bajaj completed her diagnostic radiology residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, followed by advanced fellowship training in musculoskeletal and body MRI at the same institution. She also completed prior radiology training in Mumbai, India, building a broad and diverse clinical foundation.
She is actively engaged in academic radiology through teaching, national and international lectures, and leadership roles in professional societies including the Society of Skeletal Radiology and the American College of Radiology. Dr. Bajaj has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and educational exhibits, with her work recognized at national meetings such as RSNA and ARRS, reflecting her ongoing commitment to advancing imaging quality and clinical practice.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, including her two daughters and their young dog, as well as cooking, gardening, and traveling to experience new places and cultures.
