David Ray, M.D., is a board-certified neuroradiologist with extensive experience in advanced neuroimaging. He began his career as an Assistant Professor of Neuroradiology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he contributed to both clinical practice and the education of radiology residents and fellows. Dr. Ray then transitioned to private practice with Meridian Imaging Associates, specializing in brain, spine, and head and neck imaging.
Dr. Ray earned his bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Birmingham-Southern College, followed by a master’s degree in Medical Sciences from Mississippi College. He completed his medical degree and diagnostic radiology residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, followed by a prestigious fellowship in neuroradiology at Johns Hopkins University.
An active contributor to the field, Dr. Ray has published extensively on neuroradiology topics, and has presented his work at numerous national conferences, including the American Society of Neuroradiology.
Outside of radiology, Dr. Ray enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, playing tennis, running, and working on his golf game.
