Rosemary Jordan Klecker, M.D., is a distinguished musculoskeletal radiologist with a strong background in academic medicine and clinical leadership. She serves as Division Chief of Musculoskeletal Imaging and Professor of Radiology at the University of South Alabama Medical Center. Earlier in her career, Dr. Klecker served as Director of Musculoskeletal Imaging for Central Ohio for Cleveland Clinic and held academic appointments at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, where she was also a Clinical Instructor at Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Klecker earned her medical degree from The George Washington University School of Medicine and completed diagnostic radiology residency at The Ohio State University Medical Center. She pursued advanced fellowship training in musculoskeletal radiology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.
Deeply committed to education and professional service, Dr. Klecker has received multiple teaching honors, including a Teacher of the Year award, and has served on numerous academic and society committees, including leadership roles within the Society of Skeletal Radiology. She has been an invited lecturer for national and international continuing medical education programs, with expertise in sports imaging and musculoskeletal trauma.
Dr. Klecker has contributed extensively to scholarly work through peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and national meeting presentations, including award-winning research recognized by the Radiological Society of North America. She remains dedicated to delivering high-quality, collaborative musculoskeletal imaging care.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Klecker enjoys spending time with her two teenage sons and their two doodle dogs. She plays both competitive and recreational tennis and has recently taken up sailing — an endeavor she hopes will soon lead to competing in regattas.
