Dr. Heather Grisafi is a highly skilled musculoskeletal radiologist specializing in MRI assessment of orthopaedic and soft-tissue injuries. She joins Radsource with a strong blend of academic training and extensive real-world experience, with particular strength in evaluating complex orthopedic and sports-related injuries.

Dr. Grisafi completed a transitional internship at Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh, followed by a diagnostic radiology residency at West Virginia University. She went on to complete intensive musculoskeletal imaging training at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She earned her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College and graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences, college honors, and recognition for outstanding student research.

Dr. Grisafi is a partner with Butler Imaging and Interventional Associates at Independence Health System, where she provides comprehensive musculoskeletal imaging interpretation and works closely with orthopedic surgeons and referring clinicians to support confident, efficient patient care. Her commitment to excellence has been recognized with West Virginia University Hospitals’ STAR Award for outstanding patient care.

Dr. Grisafi lives in Western Pennsylvania with her husband, an orthopaedic spine surgeon, and two children. She values time with her family, her faith, relaxed days at home, and watching sports, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers.
