Dr. Humberto Rosas is a nationally recognized musculoskeletal radiologist with extensive expertise in both diagnostic and interventional imaging. He joins Radsource following a distinguished academic career at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, where he served as Professor of Radiology, Clinical Director of Radiology at East Madison Hospital, and Director of the Musculoskeletal Interventional Service. Over nearly two decades, Dr. Rosas has led significant initiatives in musculoskeletal intervention, radiology education, and medical device innovation.

Dr. Rosas earned his medical degree from Duke University, followed by residency and fellowship training at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Washington University in St. Louis. He has authored over 40 peer-reviewed publications, contributed to multiple book chapters, and has received numerous accolades, including the RSNA Magna Cum Laude Award, the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF) Innovation Award, and the Outstanding Teacher of the Year Award.

Dr. Rosas’s commitment to advancing radiology is evident through his service on several professional committees, including his role as former Chair of the Musculoskeletal Community for the AIUM, his contributions to the ACR Economics Committee, and his work as a journal reviewer for Radiology, RadioGraphics, AJR, Journal of Ultrasound in Medicine, and Osteoarthritis and Cartilage.

A respected educator and innovator, he has delivered over 200 national and international presentations and holds multiple patents related to ultrasound-based respiratory monitoring technologies. He is also the co-founder of AyrFlo Innovation Labs, a medical device company focused on developing non-invasive airway monitoring solutions.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Rosas enjoys mountain biking, cooking, reading, traveling, and creating 3D graphics.
