Michelle Young McNee, M.D. is a highly skilled musculoskeletal radiologist who joins Radsource after gaining broad experience in both academic medicine and in private practice. Dr. McNee graduated cum laude from Harvard University with a degree in neurobiology before going on to earn her medical degree at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
After obtaining her degrees, Dr. McNee completed an internship at North Shore University Hospital, followed by a diagnostic radiology residency at UCLA Medical Center. After residency, she went on to complete a fellowship in musculoskeletal imaging at UCLA, where she also served as a clinical instructor in the acute care imaging section.
Both prior to and during her training, Dr. McNee participated in research at several prestigious academic institutions including Harvard, Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Johns Hopkins and UCLA. Her research interests included bone and soft tissue tumors, as well as Alzheimer’s disease and breast imaging techniques.
Most recently, Dr. McNee worked as a radiologist with Torrance Radiology Medical Group, a well-respected, high-volume private practice in the Los Angeles metropolitan region, where she built her reputation as a valued clinical partner to her orthopaedic colleagues. Dr. McNee has published multiple articles in the medical literature and lectured at well-known radiology conferences and workshops.
Dr. McNee loves living in Manhattan Beach, California. During her free time, she enjoys traveling, skiing, learning about history and art, and trying to keep up with her two young boys.
