James Y. Wu, M.D. is an accomplished musculoskeletal radiologist with a passion for sports medicine imaging. He graduated from Duke University, where he was a Howard Hughes research scholar and recognized on the Dean’s List, then went on to earn his medical degree at New York Medical College. Dr. Wu completed an internship at North Shore University Hospital, followed by his residency in diagnostic radiology at Westchester Medical Center. After residency, he completed a fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology at Duke University Medical Center.
Prior to joining Radsource, Dr. Wu was a partner at the Center for Diagnostic Imaging in Orlando, Florida, where he has practiced since 2013. During this time, he served as a radiology consultant to several professional and collegiate level sports teams and other organizations, including the Orlando Magic, World Wrestling Entertainment, the University of Central Florida and Rollins College.
Dr. Wu frequently lectures about musculoskeletal imaging at professional conferences and has contributed to the radiology literature with articles in medical journals such as The Orthopedic Journal of Sports Medicine.
Dr. Wu is an avid sports fan who enjoys all outdoor activities, as well as travel, spending time with his family and appreciating good food.
