Roger M. Kerr completed medical school training at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway, New Jersey, followed by a residency in diagnostic radiology at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia. Dr. Kerr then completed a fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology at the University of California, San Diego under the tutelage of Dr. Donald Resnick.
Following completion of his fellowship, Dr. Kerr accepted the position of Assistant Professor of Radiology at the University of Southern California School of Medicine and later received an appointment as Clinical Professor of Radiology. During his tenure he has served as Chief of Musculoskeletal Imaging at the Los Angeles County – USC Medical Center and Medical Director of Radiology and Outpatient MR imaging at the Los Angeles Orthopaedic Medical Center. Dr. Kerr has contributed greatly to the medical literature, authoring or co-authoring 60 peer-reviewed articles, 2 books and numerous book chapters. He has provided over 35 invited national presentations and academic exhibits. He has served on the editorial board and as a guest editor for Seminars in Musculoskeletal Radiology. With over 25 years of academic and clinical experience and a strong commitment to service, Dr. Kerr has cultivated a large following among the Los Angeles orthopaedic community.
Dr. Kerr is married and lives in Santa Monica, California.
