Leon Toye, M.D. has nearly 20 years of musculoskeletal MRI experience and serves as a Radsource Medical Director.  Dr. Toye is the lead radiologist for both the Tennessee Titans NFL and Memphis Grizzlies NBA teams.  Prior to joining Radsource, Dr. Toye was the Director of MSK Radiology at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, a sought-after clinical radiologist, and a highly regarded radiology resident and fellow educator.  While in Texas, Dr. Toye provided image interpretations for additional professional sports teams including the Dallas Cowboys and Dallas Stars. He has numerous publications to his credit, is a member of the International Skeletal Society, and has served as a peer reviewer for the Musculoskeletal Section of the American Journal of Roentgenology.  Dr. Toye has a special interest in MR image optimization and occasionally serves as a consultant on the GE MSK MRI Medical Advisory Committee.

Dr. Toye completed musculoskeletal radiology fellowship at Duke University under the direction of Dr. Clyde Helms. Additionally, he was chief resident in Diagnostic Radiology at the St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center/Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix and graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.

Dr. Toye is a guitar enthusiast and enjoys professionally recording with other artists in Nashville, New Orleans, and Austin.  Dr. Toye’s wife, Amanda, is an anesthesiologist who specializes in pain management.
