Leon R. Toye attended Medical School at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Dr. Toye performed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center/Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix where he was chief resident. He then performed a fellowship in Musculoskeletal Radiology at the Duke University Medical Center, under the direction of Dr. Clyde Helms.
Following his radiology training, Dr. Toye accepted a position as an Attending at the Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas Texas, a position he held for 7 years prior to joining Radsource. During his stay, Dr. Toye was highly esteemed by the radiology residents for his teaching expertise, playing a vital role in the residency program as an instructor and became a sought-after clinical radiologist to the medical staff. Dr. Toye was a valued radiological consultant to Dallas professional teams including the Dallas Cowboys and Dallas Stars. Dr. Toye has numerous publications to his credit and serves as a peer reviewer for the Musculoskeletal Section of the American Journal of Roentgenology.
Dr. Toye is an accomplished musician and enjoys both concert and studio performance. Dr. Toye’s wife, Amanda, is an anesthesiologist who specializes in pain management.
