Dr. Carol Ashman joined Radsource after gaining extensive clinical experience as an attending at the Ohio State University College of Medicine and as a subspecialty private practice radiologist. Dr. Ashman graduated cum laude from Georgetown University before attending medical school at Indiana University, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. Following her internship at Duke University Medical Center, Dr. Ashman entered her residency in diagnostic radiology at the Ohio State University Medical Center. Upon completion of her residency, she remained at Ohio State to complete separate fellowships in both neuroradiology and musculoskeletal imaging. Dr. Ashman is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology and holds a Certificate of Added Qualification in Neuroradiology.
Dr. Ashman is an extremely accomplished researcher and educator in both musculoskeletal radiology and neuroradiology. She has received three certificates of merit for her published research and has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles as well as three book chapters. Dr. Ashman has presented her research and provided educational lectures at numerous scientific meetings. She is a past recipient of the Janet H. Glasgow Memorial Achievement Citation from the American Medical Women’s Association.
When not practicing radiology, Dr. Ashman enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, and travel.
